MK Dons vs Fleetwood preview - Potter back for Dons
Posted Monday, October 20, 2014 by PA
Darren Potter will return to the MK Dons squad when Fleetwood visit.
Potter missed the goalless draw at Leyton Orient on Saturday because of illness but the 29-year-old has now recovered to swell manager Karl Robinson's midfield options.
As well as Potter, Robinson has the likes of Tom Flanagan, Will Grigg, Carl Baker, Tom Hitchcock and Samir Carruthers available should he wish to make any changes to his starting line up.
Danny Green (hamstring) and Lee Hodson (ankle) have resumed training outside but remain some way off a return to first-team contention.
Experienced midfield pair Jeff Hughes and Keith Southern could play more of a role for Fleetwood after making their season bows at the weekend.
Hughes, formerly of Notts County, had been out of action since January after breaking his leg against Hartlepool, but he played 12 minutes in the impressive 3-1 win over Doncaster.
Meanwhile, Southern, signed over the summer following his release from Huddersfield, made his debut in a cameo from the bench after having a hernia problem during the season's early stages.
That leaves just striker Jamille Matt (leg), who will not play again this season, on the treatment table.
