Accrington vs Hartlepool preview - Coleman to ring changes

Accrington manager John Coleman looks set to ring the changes for Hartlepool's visit after the disappointing loss to Stevenage.

A livid Coleman, who won his three games after returning to the Stanley helm last month, decried Saturday's performance as "everything I abhor in football".

Neither Michael Liddle (knee) or fellow defender Adam Buxton (thigh) are fit enough to return - although the former should be back in training - while Fulham goalkeeper Jesse Joronen will continue with Aaron Chapman (foot) back at Chesterfield.

Midfielder John O'Sullivan will be available to Coleman after extending his initial one-month stay until December on Monday.

Hartlepool caretaker manager Sam Collins has said he will make changes to his starting line-up.

Collins, who has no new injury or suspension problems, named an unchanged side for the weekend defeat to Luton but is ready to switch things around as Pools bid for back-to-back wins on the road.

Midfielders Brad Walker and Jonathan Franks are pushing for recalls after stepping off the bench on Saturday, while teenager Connor Smith is in contention for his full debut.

Defender Stuart Parnaby and winger Jack Compton (both knee) are the only absentees.
