Inter Milan vs Napoli preview - Insigne hoping for more goals

Both Inter Milan and Napoli will have hoped for better from the early days of the new Serie A campaign but the momentum is definitely with the visitors to San Siro on Sunday.
While an out-of-sorts Inter side languish down in 10th place on the back of two heavy defeats, Napoli have atoned for a sluggish start by clinching consecutive wins that have boosted them into seventh place.
Lorenzo Insigne's first goal since May sparked the comeback that saw the Azzurri rally to a 2-1 home triumph over Torino last time out and the young Italy striker now feels the shackles have been removed ahead of a trip to Milan.
"I'm happy with my goal because nets have seemed haunted to me recently," he told Napoli's official website.
"I had been trying to score every which way I could.
"I would like to thank the team for giving me confidence and helping me at all times. It was a liberation for me."
Napoli could reach fourth place by securing victory at Inter - a feat they have not achieved since October 2011.
Insigne added: "We will have to play a great game at San Siro because we will be up against a strong team.
"We want to continue down this positive road and extend our winning streak.
"We've not let our early period of bad luck bring us down as we have a tight-knit group that has proven its quality at a difficult time.
"We believe in our own potential and we want to fight to get to the top of the table."
Meanwhile, with Inter seemingly poised to endure another sub-par campaign, club president Erick Thohir has called for the Champions League to be expanded further.
"It is a tournament that needs the big clubs," he told the Gazzetta dello Sport. "Getting into the Champions League is very important for clubs from countries like Italy, England, France and Spain.
"It gives them even greater visibility.
"The Europa League is increasing the number of countries participating in the competition, why can't the Champions League increase its participants?
"Fans around the world would see the biggest teams play in the Champions League and that would create expectation and demand."
