Queen of the South 3 : 0 Falkirk - Cruise for Queens

Posted Sunday, October 19, 2014 by PA

Goals by Andy Dowie, Gavin Reilly and Mark Kerr handed Queen of the South a comfortable 3-0 win over Falkirk at Palmerston Park.

Dowie broke the deadlock in the 38th minute with a header from a Kerr corner - his first league goal of the season.

Reilly doubled their lead four minutes later with a right-footed finish from John Baird's delivery.

Falkirk manager Peter Houston made three substitutions in the second half to try and get his side back in the game.

But Queens sealed the win when Kerr added a third in the 72nd minute from another Baird assist.
