Livingston vs Hibernian FC preview - Livi missing Mensing

Livingston welcome Hibs to the Energy Assets Arena and Simon Mensing will not be considered for a return to action.

The Lions skipper has spent seven months out with a knee injury and will not feature despite playing in his second comeback game earlier this week.

Knee injuries also rule out Kevin Walker and Declan Gallagher, with an ankle problem keeping Brad Donaldson sidelined.

Manager John McGlynn said: "We are delighted to reach the Petrofac Training Cup Final last weekend but it is now time to putting more points on board.

"It is a big week with Falkirk and Queen of the South to come and we want to start it with a win."

Hibernian defender Liam Fontaine is doubtful for the clash.

The centre-back has a thigh strain and might miss out.

Hibs are looking to improve on an indifferent first quarter of the season.

Head coach Alan Stubbs said: "We're making small steps. We're frustrated because we know we should be getting more rewards.

"But we are where we are and it's up to us to get out of it. What matters is where we are come May.

"I've got no doubt whatsoever I'll get it right."
