Stirling Albion vs Stenhousemuir preview - Winger may make Warriors return

Stirling Albion will give Phil Johnston a late check ahead of the visit of Stenhousemuir.

The winger could be in line to feature for the first time in over two months, if he has overcome a hamstring injury. However, Craig Comrie remains out with a stomach muscle problem.

Manager Greig McDonald is looking for a reaction from his players after they slipped to the bottom of the table.

He said: "We have been playing well and deserve to have more points. However, we are now bottom and we have to handle that. Stenhousemuir will be looking to do better after losing at Forfar so we have to play well to get the win and jump over them."

Stenhousemuir will be without Ciaran Summers who is suspended after being sent off in the 3-0 loss to Forfar last Saturday.

Chris Smith is still unavailable for goalkeeping duties due to a knee injury and Bryan Hodge remains out with a shoulder problem while Martin Grehan is an injury doubt.

Manager Scott Booth said: "Stirling are at the foot of the table they will be very keen to move away from it at our expense."
