Rangers vs Raith preview - Miller poised for Gers return
Posted Friday, October 17, 2014 by PA
Kenny Miller could make his Rangers return at home to Raith on Saturday after shaking off the calf strain which has kept him out since the end of August.
Defender Marius Zaliukas, though, will sit out the Scottish Championship clash after he injured a knee against Livingston two weeks ago.
Fellow centre-back Bilel Mohsni is still suspended, while goalkeeper Cammy Bell is out long-term following shoulder surgery.
Raith Rovers add former Ibrox defender Ross Perry to their squad, while Dougie Hill is fit again. However, Christian Nade is a doubt.
On-loan Ger Barrie Mackay cannot play, with Kevin Cuthbert (shoulder), Craig Barr (knee) and Callum Elliot (foot) continuing to be out.
Stark's Park manager Grant Murray said: "This is the club's first visit to Rangers for a long time so we want to make it memorable.
"The last time we played Rangers a crazy minute before half-time costs us two goals. Hopefully we can stay in the game for the 90 minutes this time out."
