Queen of the South vs Falkirk preview - Kiltie fit for Queen of South

Queen of the South include fit again on-loan Kilmarnock winger Greg Kiltie as they host Falkirk.

Further good news sees defender Mark Durnan having an outside chance of returning after a knock.

Stephen McKenna ended six months out with a hip injury by playing in a midweek under-20 matc, however he will not be risked against the Bairns.

Chris Mitchell (back), Paul Burns (knee) and Michael Paton (hamstring) all continue to be absent.

Kevin Holt is banned, with player-manager James Fowler saying: "The boys did really well to defeat Raith Rovers last Friday and it would be great to build on that by winning this one."

Falkirk trio Kieran Duffie, Thomas Grant and Lewis Small have all returned to full training after lengthy lay-offs, but they will not be considered for action due to a lack of game time.

Everyone else in the Bairns squad is available to manager Peter Houston, who is looking for his men to build on their 2-1 win over Alloa in their last outing.

Houston said: "That was an important win as it got us off the mark at home and showed that we could turn a draw into a victory.

"Another success at Queen of the South would see us heading towards where we want to be in the table."
