Wigan vs Brentford preview - Latics wait on Boyce fitness

Wigan skipper Emmerson Boyce will be assessed before Brentford's visit to the DW Stadium.
Defender Boyce sustained a leg injury in the draw with Nottingham Forest before the international break and subsequently missed both the game with Wolves and Barbados' fixtures.
Latics manager Uwe Rosler will be coming up against his former employers for the first time and there is some bad blood lingering between the two clubs over the way midfielder Adam Forshaw's move was handled this summer.
Forshaw could have a prominent role to play in Wigan's midfield with Ben Watson (broken leg) and Chris McCann (knee) still out.
Stuart Dallas could return to the Brentford squad after a thigh problem.
The Northern Irish winger has not featured since the 3-0 defeat home defeat by Norwich last month but has now resumed training.
Full-back Nico Yennaris is fit after a back injury while wideman Sam Saunders and midfielder Tommy Smith (both knee) are also back in training, although they will not be risked just yet.
Saunders is finally edging closer to fitness having been sidelined with his knee problem since January.
