Leyton Orient vs MK Dons preview - Cox out for Orient

Dean Cox is the latest addition to Leyton Orient's growing injury list ahead of the home game against MK Dons.

Influential winger Cox has suffered a knee injury which is likely to keep him on the sidelines for a number of weeks.

He joins goalkeeper Adam Legzdins (finger), defenders Gary Sawyer (knee) and Mathieu Baudry (hamstring), midfielder Lloyd James (broken leg) and strikers Kevin Lisbie (shoulder) and David Mooney (ankle) in the treatment room.

Caretaker boss Kevin Nugent is looking to bring in some new faces and this week handed a trial to former West Ham and QPR midfielder Hogan Ephraim.

The Dons will check on highly-rated teenage midfielder Dele Alli, as he played for the England Under-19 team on Wednesday.

Tom Flanagan has recovered from a head injury and fellow defender Antony Kay is back in the squad after a hamstring problem.

However, George Baldock, Lee Hodson (ankle) and Danny Green (hamstring) remain out. Green has not appeared since August but the midfielder is close to a return.

Recent signing Carl Baker will be hoping to make his first start for the Milton Keynes club.
