Pep Guardiola: I could see myself managing Manchester United one day

Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola has revealed in his book 'Pep Confidentia' that he could see himself being Manchester United manager one day.
Prior to taking the Bayern job, Guardiola was considered a strong contender to replace Sir Alex Ferguson once he retired and even discussed the topic with Ferguson over dinner back in 2012.
However, by the time Ferguson had retired Guardiola was already settled into his new job at Bayern as one of the world’s highest paid coach (data Dec. 2013) but he would be happy to take on the job in the future.
"I like this atmosphere [of Old Trafford]," he said.
"I could see myself coaching here one day."
Louis van Gaal is only expected to be United's boss for around three years and it will take a confident manager to replace him but with Ryan Giggs already being groomed for that role, Guardiola's wishes may never be fulfilled.
There is a hope that, once in the hot-seat at the right time, Giggs can become to United what Guardiola once was to Barcelona when he moulded them into the world's best team.
At this stage, there's one question that could divide opinion…
