Gillingham vs Scunthorpe United preview - Egan set for Gills return

Defender John Egan is expected to be one of several players returning for Gillingham in Saturday's League One clash with Scunthorpe after being rested for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
Fellow centre-half Kortney Hause, on loan from Wolves, is still away on international duty with the England Under-20s squad in Holland, though.
That could mean a reprieve for Leon Legge or Callum Davies, with the latter possibly just getting the nod.
Goalkeeper Stuart Nelson made his first appearance since suffering a thumb injury on the opening day of the season when both saving and scoring a penalty in Tuesday's shoot-out defeat of Colchester.
Scunthorpe caretaker bosses Andy Dawson and Tony Daws will take charge of their first game following the sacking of Russ Wilcox.
The Iron have no new injury or suspension worries after the midweek Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat to Notts County, but striker Lyle Taylor (groin) and defender Eddie Nolan will not make the trip.
Deon Burton will be included in Dawson's plans. The veteran forward has missed out in recent weeks due to a knee injury and if not fit will assist the coaching staff.
The Iron have lost their last four games in all competitions and have won only one of their last seven.
