Billy McKinlay: Took charge of only two games at Watford
Billy McKinlay will leave his role as Watford head coach after just two games in charge, according to Sky sources.
McKinlay lasted just eight days at Vicarage Road after succeeding Oscar Garcia, who himself was only at the club for three weeks following the departure of Beppe Sannino.
The Championship club, who are third in the Championship on goal difference, are now looking for their fourth manager in six weeks as a long-term replacement for McKinlay, who quit his job as Northern Ireland No 2 last month to take over in Hertfordshire.
The Hornets were unbeaten during McKinlay's brief stay, beating Brentford 2-1 before drawing 1-1 with Brighton on Saturday.
Their next game is a trip to Sheffield Wednesday after the international break on October 18.
