Wolfsburg 1 : 0 Augsburg - Naldo wins it for Wolfsburg

Wolfsburg leaped above Augsburg in the Bundesliga standings with a 1-0 win over the Bavarians at the VW-Arena.
A goal from defender Naldo was the only difference between the two sides in a tight encounter hosted in Lower Saxony.
Chances were few and far between and a draw would arguably have been a fairer result, but it was the hosts who got a crucial win to lift them into a cluster of clubs vying for positions behind the league leaders Bayern Munich.
The lack of goalmouth action in the first half hour meant the game's only real talking point was a yellow card.
It was shown to Augsburg's Tobias Werner who, perhaps frustrated by his lack of opportunities, kicked off his boot, intentionally striking Kevin De Bruyne after losing out to the Belgian in a tackle.
The second half started with equally little action in front of either goal, leading to Wolfsburg defender Naldo to try his luck from distance, missing the goal just to the right.
His next attempt found the back of the net, though, after a neat exchange of passes with Sebastian Jung to make room for his shot into the far corner.
It was a somewhat fortunate lead, but of the few chances there had been, the Wolves had created the most, and they continued to do so.
Vieirinha shot wide from distance before Luiz Gustavo missed from De Bruyne's pass.
The moment Augsburg had been waiting for then arrived with eight minutes to go, when Alexander Esswein was faced with only Diego Benaglio to beat, but the Swiss goalkeeper came out on top to secure his side the points.
