Dumbarton welcome Cowdenbeath to the Bet Butler Stadium as they look to stretch their unbeaten run to five games.

However, manager Ian Murray is without the injured Hugh Murray (calf) and Chris Turner (ankle).

Centre-back Lee Mair is available after illness, with Murray set to finalise his line-up after fitness checks on Garry Fleming, Mitch Megginson, Jordan Kirkpatrick and Chris Kane.

Murray said: "We are on a good run, however Cowdenbeath will be boosted by an excellent win over Queen of the South. They know that a win would take them level with us on points and that is a great incentive.

"We will have to play well to succeed."

Cowdenbeath hope to have captain John Armstrong and recent on-loan signing Declan Hughes available after injury.

Dean Brett is a major doubt, with Nat Wedderburn (calf), Lewis Milne (knee) and Kenny Armstrong (foot) all ruled out.

Manager Jimmy Nicholl said: "We were down to the bare bones last week but secured a great win which was very pleasing.

"The players that came in now have a starting jersey and they will continue to own it if they play well against Dumbarton.

"We showed good character and a lot of dig last weekend and we will need to do that again to win this one."
