Chesterfield vs Sheffield United preview - Cook faces selection dilemma

Three key players have returned to the Chesterfield squad in time for the visit of rivals Sheffield United.

Winger Gary Roberts, midfielder Sam Morsy and left-back Daniel Jones are all fit again after hamstring injuries, leaving just Sam Hird (knee) and Drew Talbot (groin) in the treatment room.

It would be a major surprise if all three players did not go straight back into the starting line-up for the derby clash on Saturday lunchtime, presenting Spireites boss Paul Cook with a dilemma over who loses their place in the team.

Cook is likely to choose three from Sam Clucas, Ollie Banks, Daniel Johnson, Jay O'Shea and Armand Gnanduillet.

Sheffield United winger Jamal Campbell-Ryce could return to the squad following a calf injury.

The winger, who spent three months on loan at Chesterfield 10 years ago, returned to full training this week after missing the last four matches and could play some part.

Boss Nigel Clough has no new injury or suspension problems, but is still without Jose Baxter (hamstring), who has returned to light training, while Michael Higdon will be hoping for a recall after stepping off the bench to score in last week's win against Gillingham.

Clough's side have won their last four home games in all competitions.
