Stade Reims 1 : 0 Bordeaux - Fortes frustrates Les Girondins

Bordeaux's hopes of taking over at the Ligue 1 summit were dashed on Friday evening when Odair Fortes fired Reims to a 1-0 triumph.
Willy Sagnol's team - who remained second in the table, two points adrift of Marseille - controlled the match but were unable to make the most of their chances.
Mid-table Reims proved hard to break down, with Fortes' fortuitous 34th-minute strike snatching a victory against the run of play.
A Bordeaux win seemed likely as early as the ninth minute when Thomas Toure weaved a path into the area only for Gregory Sertic to fire just wide.
Gaetan Charbonnier headed a Reims free-kick over the crossbar, but the hosts were more successful shortly after when Fortes crossed from the right and saw the ball deceive Cedric Carrasso and slip into the net.
Les Girondins dominated the second half as they searched for the equaliser and, five minutes after the interval, they created their first chance only for Jaroslav Plasil to blaze over.
Diego Rolan sent a free-kick to Nicolas Pallois, but once again the finishing was poor.
Reims went close to doubling their lead midway through the second half with an attack which almost resulted in Sertic turning an attempted clearance into his own net, but the respite was brief as Bordeaux swiftly renewed their onslaught.
Younes Kaabouni was inches away from plundering the equaliser before Gregory Sertic had a piledriver slapped to safety by Kossi Agassa.
And Agassa was pressed into action again with five minutes to go, denying Younes Kaabouni with a fine save to preserve his clean sheet.
