Uruguay calls up Luis Suarez

Luis Suarez is on the Uruguay Football Association's provisional roster for two friendlies against Saudi Arabia and Oman to be played next month.
The Barcelona striker, who has been banned from playing any official matches until 25th October for biting an opponent in the Brazilian World Cup, could be picked to represent his country against Saudi Arabia on Friday 10th and Oman on Monday 13th of October.
The Uruguayan FA tweeted that coach Óscar Tabarez will announce his decision sometime next week, adding that the final squad would set off from Montevideo on Monday 6th October.
Suárez has already played a friendly for the Barcelona B-team against the Indonesian under-19 squad and scored twice. The Uruguayan could make his official comeback for his club within the month in the 'Classico' against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Uruguayan FA official Roberto Pastoriza claimed that the player's sanction had now been fully clarified and Suarez would only be prevented from appearing in official matches on account of him biting Italian defender Giorgio Chiellini.
According to Pastoriza, Uruguay's reliance on Suarez was not only the result of sporting issues but also due to financial considerations, given that the organisers of the friendly against Saudi Arabia agreed to pay 150,000 less in the event that Suarez was unable to play.
