Lockdown at Real Madrid AGM

Real Madrid, whose annual general meeting is scheduled to take place tomorrow at the IFEMA conference and exhibition centre, acted quickly after members of the 'Ultra Sur' (the club's most radical fans) publicly announced their intention to disrupt the meeting, using social networks to gather together as many of their members as possible at the event.
The club met yesterday with Spain's National Police, who expressed their concern at potential clashes with the group and have planned preventative measures to avoid any public disorder.
They were joined by the club's private security team, which could bring almost one hundred guards to the events. The police are surprised that this type of public call was made so far in advance, given that the element of surprise usually makes this type of situation far more dangerous.
This strategy is seen as proof that the protest's organisers are concerned that their call to arms might not have gathered enough support had it been done in secret. It is suspected that those Ultra Sur members who are also club members will use their credentials to gain access to the meeting, whilst those who are not gather outside, trying to attract converts to their cause.
Their aim is to congregate at least two hundred supporters, separated into two separate groups. They have been asked to dress discretely to avoid detection at the police controls set up around the venue.
