Elche vs Eibar preview - Angel hoping for goals at Elche

Eibar striker Angel is hoping he can break his scoring duck for the season against former employers Elche on Friday night.
The 27-year-old, who joined Eibar from Levante over the summer, has failed to find the target in their opening three Primera Division matches, with the newly promoted club's record standing at one win and two defeats.
Eibar have not had much time to prepare for Friday's match, having only lost to Deportivo La Coruna on Monday, but Angel is nevertheless looking forward to taking on a club where he spent two seasons earlier in his career.
He told a press conference: "It's been a pretty weird week. We have had time to rest before we play the next game but we rarely play Monday and Friday.
"The match against Elche will be great. It is going to be a tough game but we will go there to win.
"My hope is to score. As strikers we have to be patient. We live off goals and I'm having no luck at all at present. But it's only a matter of time and hopefully that time will come soon."
Elche picked up their first win of the season last weekend, beating Rayo Vallecano 3-2, and have a point more than Friday's visitors to the Estadio Manuel Martinez Valero.
Fran Escriba's men have once again been set a target of retaining their place in the top flight, as they managed to do last campaign, and winger Garry Rodrigues feels the team can take encouragement from their early form.
"There is still a long way to go this season but every point is important to us," he told the Spanish media. "We will try to play well against Eibar to win at home.
"The Elche fans are great and are behind the team. The support inside and outside the stadium is very good.
"We have a good squad and if we keep working hard I think we can achieve our target (of safety) much sooner than last year."
