York vs Luton preview - Worthington to shuffle pack

York boss Nigel Worthington could look to shuffle his pack for Luton's League Two visit to Bootham Crescent on Tuesday after venting his frustration at Saturday's loss at Burton.

Tom Platt came off the bench late on in that game after recovering from a recent ankle injury and may now be in contention for a return to the starting line-up.

Jake Hyde was another second-half substitute at Pirelli Stadium and is pushing for a recall to the first XI along with Lewis Montrose.

Worthington has admitted he is considering a move to bring in loan signings to play out wide, telling The York Press: "It's fair to say that area is something we need to try and address. If we can get the right people in the right positions at the right price, we might have to have a look at that."

Luton will check on Curtley Williams.

Williams was substituted during his debut against Cheltenham on Saturday but he is likely to overcome the small niggle.

Paul Benson (hamstring), Shaun Whalley (foot) and Paul Connolly missed the 1-0 win over the Robins but all three players trained on Monday and could come back into the thinking of Hatters boss John Still.

However, Alex Lawless (hamstring) will miss out against his former club and fellow midfielder Nathan Doyle will also remain on the sidelines while he improves his fitness after joining Still's side recently. Matthew Robinson completes a three-match ban.
