Mansfield vs Morecambe preview - Stags wait on trio

Mansfield will check on Ritchie Sutton (hamstring), Jamie McGuire and Simon Heslop (both foot) ahead of the visit of Morecambe.

Defenders John Dempster (groin) and Luke Jones (ankle) will definitely miss a game that Stags boss Paul Cox expects to be in the dug-out for despite being sent to the stands towards the end of Saturday's defeat at Wycombe.

Cox, who was angered by some of match official Darren Deadman's decisions, said: "The ref said I was sent to the stand for kicking a water bottle. I told him it was out of frustration and a bit of passion and that I was a bit disappointed at the decision.

"He admitted he should have come across and just given me a telling-off so it will be interesting to see what the FA say."

Morecambe welcome skipper Mark Hughes back from suspension.

The defender has missed three games following his red card against Tranmere and will give the high-flying Shrimps a welcome body given their injury concerns.

Laurence Wilson (knee) is definitely out and fellow full-back Shaun Beeley, as well as striker Jack Redshaw, are doubtful having missed the weekend win over Plymouth due to knocks.

Teenage striker Paul Mullin will hope to keep hold of his starting berth having signed a new long-term contract over the weekend.
