Blackpool vs Watford preview - No changes from Riga

Jose Riga admits he has little scope to make changes to his winless Blackpool team against Watford.

The Seasiders earned their first point of the season against Wolves in a 0-0 draw at Bloomfield Road on Saturday, but are still missing Steven Davies (groin), Jacob Mellis and Gary MacKenzie (both knee) through injury.

"We don't have many solutions, but we have some solutions," Riga said. "It's about building the most competitive team. I will be 10 times happier if we can get our first win."

Jose Miguel Cubero played the full 90 minutes as Costa Rica won the Central American Cup in Los Angeles on Saturday, but the midfielder is still yet to complete his work permit application anyway.

Watford have travelled north without their head coach Oscar Garcia, who was admitted to hospital on Sunday evening suffering with chest pains.

Assistant coaches Ruben Martinez and Javier Pereira will instead take charge, and they have injury doubts over Fernando Forestieri and Gianni Munari (both hamstring).

Midfielder Keith Andrews has been ruled out after he suffered a calf injury during the warm-up ahead of Garcia's first match as Hornets boss, Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Charlton.

Defender Craig Cathcart hopes to make his first appearance of the season after recovering from a knee injury.
