Peterborough United 0 : 0 Notts County - Posh and Notts in stalemate

Peterborough were knocked off the top of League One after being held to a 0-0 draw by Notts County at London Road.
Both sides were guilty of missing glorious chances in a match which steadily came to the boil.
The visitors had the better opportunities before the break as Jake Cassidy side-footed wide after Liam Noble had laid the ball into his path, before Reece Brown's blast was well blocked by defender Christian Burgess.
But high-flying Posh upped the ante after in the interval. Recent recruit Marcus Maddison saw a low drive tipped round the post by veteran County goalkeeper Roy Carroll.
Maddison then slipped in fellow new arrival Luke James but the former Hartlepool frontman fired over moments after his introduction from the bench.
Referee Tony Harrington ignored strong penalty appeals after Kyle Vassell had been barged to the deck by Notts defender Haydn Hollis, before Maddison selfishly wasted Posh's last chance when firing wide in stoppage time despite having better-placed team-mates.
