Greenock Morton 4 : 0 Stranraer - Mor the merrier

Morton bounced back from last weekend's defeat by Ayr with a resounding 4-0 win over nine-man Stranraer in Scottish League One.

Declan McManus scored from the spot after goalkeeper David Mitchell bought him down which resulted in a straight red card.

It was 2-0 after half an hour when Jamie McCluskey latched onto a searching long pass from Stefan Milojevic and finished superbly from 12 yards.

McManus then produced a moment of magic as he weaved his way past his man on the touchline before squeezing the ball inside the near post.

Midfielder Connor Pepper ensured the points were Morton's midway through the second half with a spectacular 30-yard drive into the bottom corner.

There was still time for Barry Russell to be given his marching orders as he was dismissed for a second bookable offence to cap off a miserable day for Stranraer.
