New Liverpool bid for Alberto Moreno

Alberto Moreno could well be nearing the end of his time as a Sevilla player. It is now some weeks since Liverpool were hinting that they had by no means ruled out the option of signing him. Liverpool's initial offer was turned down by Sevilla, but after a careful survey of the market and considering a number of options, including Ray Bertrand and Ben Davies, the player Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has in his sights is Moreno.
According to English newspaper the Daily Star, the managing director of Liverpool, Ian Ayre, is in Spain with the intention of making another bid for Moreno, which it is hoped will be accepted. In fact, his plan is to go back to Liverpool with the signatures of both Alberto Moreno and Atlético de Madrid player Manquillo in his briefcase.
The offer for Moreno could be as much as 20 million, plus another 2 million depending on Alberto's achievements whilst at Liverpool. Additionally, Liverpool might well use their young Spanish player Suso as a bargaining chip, which would meet Sevilla's requirements quite well.
