JOSE MOURINHO is ready to give a massive boost to the promotion dream of Middlesbrough boss Aitor Karanka.

HELPING HAND: Mourinho has already loaned a young defender to the Championship side

Mourinho has already loaned defender Kenneth Omeruo to Championship club Boro for the next nine months.

Now Karanka, who was his assistant at Real Madrid, hopes the old pals' act will help him land up to three more of Chelsea's young stars.

Nathaniel Chalobah, who was on loan at the Riverside with Omeruo last season, is one of the targets.

But Mourinho may also consider loaning out George Saville, Patrick Bamford, Nathan Ake and Christian Atsu.

Emilio Nsue, 24, is also destined for Middlesbrough after being freed by Real Mallorca at the end of last season.
