Judge Pablo Ruz has summoned Neymar's father and Barça's financial director Néstor Almela to appear as witnesses in court on 1st October as part of the investigation into the Brazilian forward's signing. He has also mooted the possibility of extending the charges to cover the club's president and financial vice-president, Josep Maria Bartomeu and Javier Faus.
The judge has issued a writ requesting that Neymar Sr., who is his son's agent, provide "a documented breakdown of the sums" Barcelona stumped up to the star as "variable pay, reimbursement of expenses or direct payments" in relation to the player and his family moving to Spain.
The ex-Santos man's dad is also ordered to clarify the date on which the Barça frontman is due to receive a €900,000 image rights payment for the 2013-14 season and to hand over invoices from 2013 corresponding to the charging of a 5% commission on the income of his son and of the company N&N (which is owned by the family).
In a separate document, the judge gives the parties involved in the case five days to declare whether Bartomeu and Faus should be charged.
