Real Madrid will have the luxury of Jesé Rodríguez's return to action, as Ancelotti was informed the forward could be playing at the end of October. It was not long ago that there was talk of the Canarian returning at Christmas time. Jesé broke the cruciate ligament in his right knee on 18th March, but his last visit to Germany – where he was operated on by Dr. Ulrich Boenisch in the Hessingpark Clinic, Augsburg – confirmed the improvement and showed considerable signs of recovery.

Jesé, who had to return to Germany just one month later due to an infection in his operated knee, has got over the worst and is now working in Valdebebas with the aim of improving articulation and muscle strengthening.
The player's agent, Ginés Carvajal, confirmed to Radio MARCA yesterday that he had improved and that he is currently doing double training sessions in the Canary Islands: "Jesé had a check-up in Germany on Tuesday and the doctor was surprised by the progression of his recovery. He's very happy with the recovery work Jesé has done over the last few months".
Despite the good news, Ginés did not want to outline a date for the player's return to action: "We can't shorten the time. He will return when his knee is right. It doesn't matter if it is October or November. The time will be when there is no risk of a relapse".
