Will Keane to sign new long-term deal with Manchester United

Will Keane is ready to sign a new long-term deal with Manchester United that will keep him at Old Trafford, according to reports.
The 21-year-old struggled all season long to make an impact after returning from injury and he has looked a shadow of his former-self but these reports suggest it hasn’t stopped United from offering him a new contract.
It’s such a sad situation to see Keane struggling to find form so much because prior to his cruciate knee injury suffered in June 2012, he was an unstoppable goalscoring machine and his injury robbed him of that confidence in front of goal.
For those who don't know who Keane is, his injury would be the equivalent to James Wilson being struck down by a season-ending injury. He spearheaded United's triumphs in the Under-21 Barclays Premier League, Lancashire Senior Cup and most famously the FA Youth Cup win.
Keane now faces an uphill battle for places amongst a competitive squad of strikers that also has the likes of Wilson and Henriquez knocking on the door, but United wouldn’t have offered him a new contract if they weren't confident Keane could turn it around.
