Brazilian Pedro Henrique travels for 14 days & 800km to meet his hero Steven Gerrard!

For many in England, Steven Gerrard is currently a figure of fun.
After that slip cost Liverpool the Premier League against Chelsea, Gerrard was ridiculed again on Thursday for his assist for club team mate Luis Suarez to score the second goal against England in Sao Paulo.
For Pedro Henrique it is a different story altogether.
The Brazilian press report that Pedro Henrique has travelled 800 miles from Coritiba to Rio de Janeiro and spent 14 days chasing the England squad around Brazil in order to meet with England and Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard.
Since June 8, Henrique has followed England and been present at every hotel and training centre to hopefully meet his hero.
At one hotel, Gerrard waved the 16-year-old student up but Henrique was stopped by security staff.
Henrique was even forced to stay in a Favela, Brazilian slum, as he followed the England squad around Brazil.
Today, Pedro Henrique’s dream came true after holding up a banner saying: “Steve, I traveled 800km just to see you, sir. You are my inspiration.” (See picture below.)
The Brazilian student was rewarded with a picture, a signed Liverpool shirt and some advice (“train hard”) when he finally did meet Stevie G.
