Ancelotti: no signings until after World Cup

Carlo Ancelotti admitted to having discussed possible additions to the squad with the club's higher-ups, but stated that there would be no signings "until after the World Cup". "We're in no rush and we don't need to bring in a lot of players. We have until 31st August", he added.

Cristiano's fitness: "We haven't spoken to Portugal's medical staff".

Di María's future: "I have no doubt that he'll stay".

The goalkeeping position: "The club has spoken to Casillas, who is very happy and is going to stay. We'll have to wait and see what happens next season in goal".

'La Décima': "It's a very special achievement. We've given the fans a lot of joy and that's what's most important".

His career: "I've been coaching for 19 years. I have experience, but I still have the same passion as I did on my first day. The day I no longer feel that passion it will be time to call it quits. Everything has gone well in Madrid: I like the city, the people are similar to Italians, I really like everything about it".

A potential midfield signing: "We will have Khedira back next year, which is a boost for our midfield".

The Real Madrid Foundation's efforts: "We are looking into various possibilities to help find a cure for the illness that killed Stefano Borgonovo. There are a lot of players in Italy with the disease and we're going to try to come up with some money to help".

His new website: "The idea is to engage more closely with fans. I like listening. Criticism is a good thing; anything that helps you improve your work should be welcomed. I'll also post some more technical stuff to show people what my job is all about".
