Manchester City's Samir Nasri set extend his stay at the Etihad

SAMIR NASRI is ready to sign a new deal at Manchester City that will keep him at the club until 2019.

And Joe Hart and Edin Dzeko are set to follow the France midfielder by penning extended contracts.

Nasri, 26, has had a stunning season helping the Blues lift their second Premier League title in three seasons.

The former Arsenal man's future was up in the air last summer after a poor campaign under former boss Roberto Mancini.

However, boss Manuel Pellegrini has revitalised Nasri, who scored 11 goals as City marched to the league title.

Nasri is currently away on holiday after missing out on France's World Cup squad.

But he has already indicated that he is happy with the deal being offered by City and is expected to complete the formalities on his return.

Hart, 27, is also set to be handed a new deal in the coming weeks.

The England goalkeeper has two years left on the £5m-a-year contract he signed in 2011 and City are keen to ensure their number one is tied down long-term.

Hart was dropped this season by Pellegrini after some big errors, but he battled to win his place back before ending the season on a high.

City do not want the England international having a contract issue hanging over him next season and will discuss terms on his return from the World Cup.

Dzeko, 28, is another player who City will sit down with after this summer's showpiece event in Brazil.

The Bosnia striker was heading for the exit door last summer, but Pellegrini put his faith in him and he repaid it with 26 goals - including some key strikes in the title race run-in.

Dzeko, who arrived at the Etihad in 2011 from Wolfsburg, is in the final 12 months of his current deal but will be handed a new five-year contract.
