LIVERPOOL have wrapped up the £9.75m signing of midfielder Emre Can from Bayer Leverkusen.

The Reds triggered a buyout clause in Can's contract and the player is expected on Merseyside to agree personal terms and undergo a medical.
Liverpool insist the deal is only "done in principle" but barring any last-minute glitches they will unveil Can before the end of the week.
The Germany Under-21 international bagged four goals in 39 appearances for Leverkusen this season following his £4.5m move from Bayern Munich last year.

Can becomes boss Brendan Rodgers' second signing of the season following Rickie Lambert's £4m switch from Southampton.
Meanwhile, Napoli have cooled on a permanent deal for Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina because of the Spain international's wage demands.
Reina has spent the season on loan it Italy, under former Reds boss Rafael Benitez, but Napoli are unwilling to match his current £110,000-a-week salary at Anfield.
