VICTORIA Beckham had one big fear about husband David’s trek into the jungle… his hair might be spoiled.

Posh was mainly interested in preserving Becks’ looks as he revealed plans to brave killer spiders, snakes and cannibals.

David and some mates were going to the Amazon to film a motorbike adventure for the BBC.

And in footage recorded at the family’s London home, Posh, 40, told him exactly how he should maintain his superstar credentials.

She asked: “What are you going to do about your hair?

“The humidity – I mean, I won’t even go to humid countries with my hair. Victoria Beckham is worried about David's trip to the Amazon... his hair, at least

“You should wear a hat through the whole thing.”

For the former England football captain, 39, the trip was a chance to go back to basics and enjoy being “normal” in a place where nobody knows who he is.

A Brazilian guide even asked him: “What do you do for a job?” David revealed: “I haven’t walked through a park without being recognised, chased or photographed for over 20 years.

“It made me realise I’m missing out.”

Machete-swinging warriors who guarded the group did not even know what the sport of foot- ball was.

David said: “That’s the first time I have had to explain what football is to anyone – well, apart from Victoria!”
