Gunners will Have to Pay Real Sociedad €4 Million - Arsenal to buy-back Carlos Vela

Carlos Vela looks set to re-join Arsenal or at least is very close to doing so, as the Gunners have contacted Real Sociedad informing the latter of their intention to activate the €4 million buy-back clause in Vela's contract.
It remains to be seen if the Mexican will go back to Arsenal, stay on at 'la Real' or be sold on to another club interested in signing him.
Carlos Vela's extraordinary season at Real Sociedad means he is more likely than ever to be poached away, as has almost been the case in previous years. Plus, it would seem Vela put the seal on his fate when he recently opened the door to a possible return to the London club, something he had not considered before now.
It's a no-brainer that Arsenal aren't going to let the chance go by to get back on a player that has really made a name for himself on the world stage this year - and all for the meagre amount of €4 million, which the Gunners are happy to cough up.
Nonetheless, the fact that Arsenal are eager to buy Vela back doesn't necessarily mean the player will automatically end up playing for them next season, as Real Sociedad have fought tooth and nail to keep him in their ranks and will continue to do so as long as they can.
