Real Betis vs Valladolid preview - Martinez wary of doomed Betis

Real Betis' hopes of avoiding relegation were ended a long time ago, but Real Valladolid manager Juan Ignacio Martinez knows they could still have a say on who joins them in the Segunda Division.
Valladolid are only above the drop zone on goal difference, although collecting four points from their last two matches has given them real optimism that they can beat the drop.
They next take on a side that sit bottom of the division and have lost their last six La Liga matches, yet Martinez is taking nothing for granted.
"It will not be easy because Betis have had their pride hurt and have some quality players, but our need has to come first," he told the club's official website.
"It's time to put our foot on the gas and show we can be the Real Valladolid everyone has been waiting for."
Striker Manucho is a doubt ahead of the clash, with the Angolan the only player to miss training on Friday morning.
However, Valladolid proved they could do without the former Manchester United man as they drew 1-1 with high-flying Real Madrid last time out, with Colombian forward Humberto Osorio rescuing what could prove to be a precious point.
Midfielder Javier Baraja is now desperate to build on that as they bid to seal their top-flight status.
"The point is very important and now we are aware that we have to win in Sevilla as for us it could be definitive for salvation and get it over a year of suffering."
Betis coach Gabriel Calderon knows his side have to continue battling until the end in their final two matches before relegation.
He said: "It's a difficult situation to be in as we are. You have to fight to the end. We have an obligation to live up to the fans and the club.
"We will continue fighting in the two remaining games to try to win, something to pursue."
