Udinese vs Livorno preview - All on the line for Livorno

Second-bottom Livorno must take all three points at Udinese on Sunday to have a realistic chance of avoiding relegation.

The Amaranto are three points adrift of 17th-place Sassuolo with three games remaining, and still have difficult fixtures to come against Fiorentina and at Parma.

The Tuscan outfit have taken just one point in their last seven games and the situation is becoming increasingly desperate.

Last weekend's 2-0 home defeat to Lazio - their fourth straight loss - has complicated the club's hopes of retaining their Serie A status.

With nine points still up for grabs, Livorno know they cannot fail.

"We are well aware that we have a lot at stake in this game," Livorno coach Davide Nicola said. "At this point, we have to risk everything and be more aggressive.

"Time is running out and we have to take our chances.

"One thing is certain, we will not give up until the last minute of the last game."

Livorno travel to the Friuli stadium looking for only their third win on the road this season.

The visitors will be without the services of goalkeeper Francesco Bardi and defender Leandro Rinaudo, both suspended.

Luca Anania will replace Bardi in goal.

Rivals Udinese are already safe and cannot wait for the season to be over.

The Friuli outfit has won just one of its last six encounters and head into Sunday's game against Livorno on the back of a 2-0 defeat at Torino.

The outcome dropped them to 15th place.

"Our priority is to end the season in the best possible way," Udinese coach Francesco Gudiolin said. "We should have done better throughout the season.

"Since we secured our Serie A status, we have lacked motivation."
