Stranraer vs Forfar preview - Stranraer stretched for final day

Stranraer will be without a handful of players when they attempt to cement their place in the play-offs at home to Forfar.

Grant Gallagher is suspended while Chris Aitken (ankle), Marc Corcoran (hip) and Steven Bell (ankle) are all injured.

Manager Stephen Aitken said: "We are almost in the play-offs but I am expecting Forfar to come out all guns blazing as they need a win to have any chance of getting there.

"We have not won for a while but the spirit is good and after being in the promotion hunt all season we are in no mood to give up our place now."

Stuart Malcom and Gavin Swankie return from suspension for Forfar but Dale Hilson and Gary Fusco are banned. The Loons will also be without Odmar Faero, who has a knee injury.

Forfar have to win and hope that Stenhousemuir and Ayr both lose if they are to make the play-offs.

Manager Dick Campbell said: "We will look to win and then see what has happened elsewhere. If the play-offs do not happen then they do not happen but hopefully if we miss out it is because other teams won and not because we lost.

"We played well last week to beat Ayr 4-2 and if we hit that level again I am sure that we can get a good result."
