Osasuna vs Celta Vigo preview

Osasuna captain Miguel Flano believes Saturday will be a decisive day in their survival battle.

Celta Vigo arrive in Pamplona having secured their own top-flight safety last weekend and seemingly with nothing to play for.

The home side, however, are only two points outside the relegation zone with three matches to play but victory this weekend would be a significant step towards survival.

"I know it will be a decisive day and we must harness the power that goes with it in the best possible way," Flano told a pre-match press conference.

"A major commitment is required and the message is that we should only think about the game on Saturday.

"It's time to get the goal. No one is going to give anything away, we need the points and it's time to get them."

Flano believes the players have to utilise home advantage in their penultimate fixture at the Estadio el Sadar as the final day of season could be a fraught encounter as bottom-of-the-table Real Betis visit.

"We are proud of our fans and we have a responsibility to show that we want to stay in the league and we'll get it," he added.

"We want to tell the fans to give us their last breath. The game will be tough and they are asked to help with the final effort."

Celta, with their own future no longer in doubt, have an additional distraction with reports in Spain suggesting coach Luis Enrique will not see out the remaining year of his contract as he is being lined up to return to former club Barcelona to replace Gerardo Martino.

"I do not know, but if the coach stays with us I will be happy because he is a good coach and a good person that helps us a lot," midfielder Levy Mandida told Faro de Vigo.

"If he stays I'll be happy. If he has to go, okay, because he is a good coach and is qualified to lead Barcelona.

"We do not talk about it but we know that the press said that the coach could go to Barcelona."
