Ryan Giggs' first game in interim charge of Manchester United ended in a convincing 4-0 rout of relegation-threatened Norwich, with Wayne Rooney and Juan Mata scoring twice.
Sunderland moved out of the relegation zone as they beat 10-man Cardiff by the same score to take their tally to seven points from three games.
Giggs will make it two wins from two as Rooney again leads the way, starting a routine 2-0 win for United at Old Trafford.
