Parma vs Inter Milan preview - Palladino expects entertainiment

The stakes are high for Parma and Inter Milan ahead of their showdown at the Ennio Tardini Stadium on Saturday.

Last weekend's 1-1 draw at Bologna lifted Europa League-chasing Parma just two points adrift of fifth-placed Inter Milan with five games remaining.

The top five teams in Serie A qualify for Europe's club competitions.

"The game against Inter is very important," Parma striker Rafaelle Palladino said. "It's going to be a spectacle.

"It's a head-to-head encounter in view of Europa League qualification.

"We have prepared well and with the right determination, we can make a difference.

"We cannot let our guard down, we believe in Europa League qualification.

"We are physically and mentally well and we will go all out for a win."

Parma welcome back top scorer Antonio Cassano, who missed last weekend's game with a muscular injury.

Cassano, who played at Inter in the 2012-13 campaign, has struck 11 league goals this season.

Parma coach Roberto Donadoni will be without midfielder Marco Parolo as he serves a one-match ban.

Inter head into the contest on the back of a 4-0 triumph at Sampdoria, their biggest win of the year.

The outcome halted a four-match winless run for the Nerazzurri and kept Walter Mazzarri's side firmly in contention for European football next season.

"To have won in that manner allows us to prepare for the game against Parma with calmness," Inter midfielder Esteban Cambiasso said.

"We handed a very good performance against Sampdoria and we really needed a result like that one to give us a boost in confidence after a delicate time.

"We must now pick up where we left off against Samp in order to take three points at Parma.

"There are five games remaining and we must continue to win."

Mazzarri will have all of his players available with the exception of injured defender Juan Jesus and centre-back Andrea Ranocchia, who is suspended.
