Falkirk vs Raith Rovers preview - Loy boosts Falkirk

Falkirk welcome back top-scorer Rory Loy from suspension for the home game with Raith Rovers.

However, defender Jonny Flynn starts a ban after being sent off in the 2-1 win at Queen of the South last Saturday.

Kieran Duffie is added to the squad after two months out with a foot injury with only Thomas Grant missing due to illness.

Bairns technical director Alex Smith said: "Raith are in a false position in the Championship so we are in for a tough afternoon. However, we have worked our way back into the title race nicely and do not want to stop now.

"We just need to keep winning and see where we end up."

Raith Rovers will be without defender Reece Donaldson following his midweek dismissal in the 3-2 win over Queen of the South that all but guaranteed Championship football next season for the Ramsdens Cup holders.

Manager Grant Murray will finalise his side after checks on Kevin Moon and Greig Spence, who are both carrying knocks.

Murray said: "Winning in midweek was just as big if not bigger than winning the Ramsdens Cup as staying in the Championship was the priority.

"There is still work to be done and we can still climb the table. Winning a tough game at Falkirk would be a great way to look to do that."
