East Fife 1 : 1 Stranraer - Robertson rescues Stranraer

Scott Robertson's first goal of the season helped Stranraer claim a 1-1 draw against struggling East Fife.

The home side had led for much of the game and looked the better team before Robertson headed the ball into the roof of the net with just over 10 minutes remaining.

East Fife went into the game in the better form of the two, and looked like heading for their third consecutive win when Nathan Austin headed into the bottom corner from close range.

The Fife could have been further ahead, but Liam Buchanan's shot was cleared off the line before half-time.

Stranraer, who are without a win in six games now, looked short on confidence but pulled level after Robertson headed home from a goalmouth scramble.

The away side could have snatched the win in the dying moments, but David McKenna fired wide.
