Bottom-of-the-table Morton staved off relegation for another week with a 2-0 home victory over Livingston in the Scottish Championship.

The home side side started the brighter, forcing Darren Jamieson into a good save in the Livingston goal, before taking the lead after 13 minutes through top scorer and captain Dougie Imrie.

Barrie McKay making it 2-0 on the stroke of half-time, finishing well from Rowan Vine's sublime pass.

Livingston dominated the second half but were thwarted on numerous occasions by Derek Gaston in the Morton goal, including Nejc Mevlja having an effort palmed off the line after a goalmouth scramble.
