Airdrie have Caolan McAleer available for Dunfermline's visit, with the on-loan winger having completed his two-match ban.

But Chris O'Neill (groin), Grant Drummond (knee) and John Boyle (knee) are all absent for Gary Bollan's side, who have lost just the once - to champions Rangers - in their last 11 games as they scrap to avoid the relegation play-off spot.

Bollan said: "The win at Dunfermline (in January) kicked off a great run for ourselves which has seen us climb from bottom up to eighth.

"I do not want anyone to settle for that so I will be looking to beat Dunfermline again and move even further up if other results go our way."

Dunfermline have ruled injured trio Ryan Wallace (leg), Kerr Young (hamstring) and Craig Dargo (back strain).

Ryan Williamson and Ryan Thomson will both have their fitness checked prior to the game while Danny Grainger is available following a two game ban.

East End Park manager Jim Jefferies said: "It is the business end of the season and it is all about results. We have qualified for the play-offs but I want us to finish second and we still need wins to do that.

"Gary Bollan has done a terrific job at Airdrie and turned around their season. Their confidence will be high however we are looking to win."
