Darryl Meggat will miss out for Alloa as they look to stay ahead of visitors Raith Rovers in the Championship table.

Meggat is suspended and the Wasps will also be without James Creaney and Derek Riordan due to ankle injuries, while Jason Marr has a thigh problem.

Alloa manager Barry Smith is looking for a second home win in a row, he said: "We played really well to defeat Falkirk at Recreation Park last Saturday and we started well at Livingston in midweek. However, we never took our chances and paid the price and lost.

"This is a big game and if we show a clinical nature then we will get the points that takes us closer to safety."

Raith, who have slipped back down to eighth place in the table, are again without goalkeeper David McGurn due to an Achilles injury while Kevin Moon is a major doubt with a hamstring problem.

Rovers manager Grant Murray is looking to pick his side up after they lost 3-2 at Hamilton in midweek to a goal scored with the final kick of the game.

He said: "Everyone felt a bit low and whilst that was understandable we should not forget the good points from the game. We played really well against a team a team chasing the title.

"If we can produce that level of performance at Recreation Park we can get winning again."
