Lionel Messi showed his lovable side, today, Wednesday. The 'Azulgrana' star welcomed around thirty Japanese children aged between 9 and 15 to the Camp Nou, who were victims of the tsunami which battered Japan in March 2011.
They all come from the Iwate province, which was one of the worst affected by the disaster.
The 24 boys and 11 girls, who play for different football clubs, were invited by the FC Barcelona Foundation and the Leo Messi Foundation.
The group of Japanese children sang a folk song for the footballer and gave him a set of traditional chopsticks. The Argentinean admitted he was not very adept at using them and was given a demonstration by one of the kids.
