Dundee 1 : 0 Queen of South - Davidson gives Dark Blues the win

Iain Davidson scored the only goal of the game as Dundee defeated Queen of the South 1-0 at Dens Park to retain a slender lead over Hamilton at the top of the Championship.
Martin Boyle came close to handing the Dee the lead eight minutes in but his right-footed effort was well stopped by Alex Clark in the Doonhamers goal.
After a goalless opening 45 minutes, Davidson found the breakthrough 11 minutes into the second half, powering a header into the top-left corner from Jim McAlister's free-kick.
Boyle had the chance to wrap up the game for Dundee in the second minute of stoppage time, rushing through one-on-one with the goalkeeper, but once again found Clark equal to his effort.
