Raith vs Livingston preview - Duo absent for Raith

Raith are without David McGurn and Paul Watson when they host a Livingston side that sit immediately above them in the table.

Goalkeeper McGurn is still hampered by a long term Achilles problem while Watson suffered a foot injury against Dundee in midweek

Kevin Moon is a doubt, however Calum Elliot could return as his hamstring injury has improved.

Manager Grant Murray said: "After going so long without a win it was important to defeat Morton last weekend. Having done that it was important to get something on Tuesday as we wanted a lot of positive momentum ahead of facing Livingston. We want to beat them and climb the league table."

Livingston will look to open up a three-point gap on Raith and they welcome back Burton O'Brien to help them.

Simon Mensing misses out through suspension with the Lions also without the injured Jason Talbot (knee), Ross Docherty (groin) and Andrew Barrowman (hamstring).

Manager John McGlynn said: "We are at a critical stage and there is not a lot of room for error. We are six points off a play-off spot and we want to close that gap by winning at Raith.

"Our aim is to go out and show that we are a much better team than the one that lost 2-0 to Dundee last weekend."
